Medical Centre
The medical centre started on 19th August 2018. This charitable dispensary is having Allopathy, Ayurvedic, Orthopedic, Ophthalmology and general OPD department. Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Dental and Eye Care Department are run in the morning from 9 to 12 Noon except Sunday at the Ashram.
In the Ayurveda Department, patients are diagnosed and medicines are given free of Cost.
The Eye Care Dept. Serves large numbers of people providing Free Eye check up and Free Cataract Operations facilities with the help of Narayan Eye Hospital Tajpura, Halol. Free transport facilities from Vadodara to Narayan Eye Hospital, Tajpura are also provided to all patients by Narayan Eye Hospital.
Free Medical Camp
Free medical camps are organized time to time, where, expert doctors offer their voluntary services. Medicines are given free of cost.
Free Eye-Camp
Free eye-camps are organized in rural as well as urban area periodically as follow:
The volunteers of the Ashrama after doing proper survey select the village to conduct the eye camp. Pamphlets are distributed in, around and nearby villages. Banners are displayed at public places. Occasionally a vehicle is arranged for the announcement of the camp.
The camp start with the prayer. The doctors examine the patients; medicines are given free of cost. A free transportation facility in a special vehicle is provided for patient who require cataract & other surgery.
Free lodging and boarding is provided to the patient along with one attendant during operation. After surgery patients are brought back to their respective villages. A follow up is done after one month.
Free Child Sight Project:
Generally, it is observed that problems of eye sight of children are neglected due to lack of awareness. If it is taken care at proper stage the further deterioration can be detained. Keeping this in mind Ashrama has undertaken this project for school students of Vadodara and other periphery villages. The team along with a refractionist visit the school and check the eye sight of the children. Spectacle are given free of cost. If required children are referred to nearby eye hospital for further investigation.
Mobile Medical Unit (in rural area):
Since 2006 mobile medical unit comprises of qualified doctors, volunteers & other paramedical staff offer medical services to nearby villages on every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Poor and needy patients are treated and medicines are given free of cost irrespective of cast, creed and religion.
