Various welfare activities are carried out as under in addition to scholarships and educational help to selected needy students.
Every year in summer Ashrama distributes buttermilk and pure drinking water at the Ashrama’s main gate to the road passers. Special care is taken for traffic squadron at busy traffic points by providing them two buttermilk pouches in scorching noon.
Ashrama provides regular Monthly Ration Kit to selected needy blind or partially blind families. The kit includes wheat flour, rice, pulses, oil, salt, sugar, tea, red chilli powder, turmeric powder etc. Refreshment and conveyance is also given to them.
In remote tribal area Sarees are distributed to destitute women. Nutrient food is also served to them on that day.
To the selected poor and needy families Ashrama provides kitchen utensils. It includes one multi user 5 lit. stainless steel container and stainless steel set containing a plate, a bowl, a glass and a spoon.
