In order to provide bare minimum needs to have-nots, to the father or the mother who are in distress, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara is assisting the blind or partially blind destitute on a regular basis by supplying monthly ration kit. As the blind families are coming from a distance we are also giving them auto fair.
At present we are giving ration kit to 20 blind families.

New Saree Distribution
In Connection with the Janma Jayanti Celebration of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi every year Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial Vadodara distributes new sarees.
Distribution of sarees in the remote tribal area
Tribal beneficiary Women from the various villages of Chotaudepur Dist. assembled at one location. The programme starts with lighting the lamp before the pictures of the Holy Trio. Bhajans are sung by them as well as by the monks & devotees of the Ashrama. The monks address the gathering. Then sarees are distributed to these destitute women followed by lunch prasad.
Distribution of sarees to leprosy affected women
Every year Vadodara centre distributes sarees to leprosy affected women at Shram Mandir Trust, Sindhrot, Vadodara. The distribution is done on the Sunday precede the Janma Jayanti Celebration of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi.
The programme starts with lighting the lamp before the pictures of the Holy Trio. Bhajans are sung by the inmates of Shram Mandir as well as by the monks & devotees of the Ashrama. The monks address the gathering. Sarees are distributed to these destitute women. All the inmates are fed lunch prasad.
Free Distribution of Buttermilk
Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara distributes buttermilk during summer. The buttermilk center runs from the foundation day of Vadodara centre (18 April) till the end of May. The distribution is done near the Ashrama gate where the pedestrians, road passers, students drink cold buttermilk. Drinking water facility is also made available. The distribution starts from 10:30 am.
In the scorching noon at about 1:30 pm Ashrama volunteers distribute two buttermilk pouches at 20 busy traffic points to every traffic squadron present there.
